About me
Solicitor, registrar, celebrant. In that order, and for a reason.
I started out as a family solicitor, which taught me a lot about listening properly, staying calm when emotions are high, and making sure the important details don’t get missed.
Then I became a registrar and I married hundreds of couples across South Wales. I loved the nerves, the families, the little moments before a ceremony starts - but I also knew how limited the words could be.
Becoming an independent celebrant meant I could keep everything I’d learned about how ceremonies actually work, and finally have the freedom to write something completely personal.
When I’m not writing ceremonies, I’m usually outdoors with my husband, son, and two extremely opinionated Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, reading a good book, or watching Formula 1.
What it’s like to work with me…
Calm, organised, and very much in your corner.
I’ll make the process feel easy, ask the right questions, keep track of the details, and help you work out what actually matters to you. There’ll be plenty of guidance but absolutely no pressure!
I bring humour where it fits, reassurance when you need it, and enough structure that you can relax and enjoy the whole thing without feeling like you’re performing.
By the time the day comes, you’ll know me properly - and I’ll know what makes you laugh, what makes your nervous, what matters, and what really doesn’t.
Where I work
I’m based in Neath Port Talbot, and work across South, West, and Mid Wales - including Swansea, Cardiff, Bridgend, Carmarthenshire, Powys, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, and Monmouthshire.
From beaches to barns to castles, gardens and everything in between, I’m happy to travel to where the love is!
If you’re planning something further afield, just ask. Travel outside my normal area can usually be arranged for an additional fee, agreed with you before booking.
